Presentation Night for the senior section of Southern United is always a spectacular night, Friday night was no exception. The presentation night gives the club a chance to celebrate the year, as well as the congratulate the best players as well as thank those who give so much to the club.
The club this year had pleasure in awarding Jacky Jacob the mantle of life membership for the work that she has done for the club over the past thirty plus years.
Deb Ghuliani was awarded the President’s award for service to the club. Deb has taken on the role of administration around canteen, dealing with suppliers and the Kingston Sports Council, thanks Deb. While Simon Waring was awarded the Umpires/Officials Award.

The best and fairest and coaches awards are based on the players performance and team play. It is great to note that so many of our award winners also give back to the club in so many ways with coaching or administration. A quick look at the award winners also shows so many of them are under 21, the future of the club is in good hands.
