Southern United HC, on behalf of our major sponsor McKenzie’s Foods, will be running our 7th series of Junior clinics in February 2016

This year we are doing something a little different and running these over 3 weeks on Sunday afternoon/evenings.    We are hoping to make it a bit more social with a BBQ running and drinks available – registration fee includes a sausage sizzle.

 The clinics are open to all Southern United junior players who played U16’s or younger grades as well as players from other clubs and will provide the opportunity for players at all levels to further their hockey skills and understanding. Everyone is welcome!!!!

Skills covered include:

• Elimination Skills/Defending Techniques/Goal scoring
• Reverse Stick Hitting (Tomahawk)/3d and other modern hockey skills
• Mastering the basics/Game Play

Similar to 2015 McKenzies clinics will also cater for our Goalies with Macca and Hammo there to hone those goalie skills. The goalie clinic will run at 5pm.

The clinics will be run by specialist coaches and will be supported by some of our top Men’s and Women’s players so we can provide a low “player to coach” ratio that will ensure a high level of player specific coaching.
