IT was a quieter weekend for hockey, with no Premier league or junior games.But the under-age players had a busy week with the Junior State Championships. The ten regions of hockey competed over four days to determine champions at Under 13, 15 and 17 level.  The Under 13s were not only playing to win the championship, many were vying for selection in the Under 13 Victorian team to be picked in the next few weeks.
