SOUTHERN United’s Premier League teams tackled hockey powerhouse Hawthorn at home on the weekend, and the men had an outstanding victory.

A robust match had a 2-1 scoreline at half time.

But Southern took hold of the Hawks in the second half, winning 7-3.
