Mens State League 2

SUHC was 0-2 within the first 5 minutes this game against newly promoted Powerhouse St Kilda away at Albert Park. In a game of seesawing fortunes SUHC finally got the better of the Saints 6-4 to the good with converted corner after the final whistle. Three more valuable points and second place on the ladder.

Mens Pennant A

It’s been a long time since MPA went to Greensborough and came way with anything and it was nearly 3 points this week if not for freakish tomahawk in the last few minutes of the game to give Burra a share of the points. 2 all was a super result, well done boys!

Womens State League 2

The trip out to Cyril Cummins Reserve may not be as unappetizing as Greensborough, but it’s just as difficult to take points from Yarra at home. In a highly entertaining game against vigorous opposition WSL were a little unlucky not to take full points. Our girls played some very attractive and attacking hockey with Page Andrews starring in goals, but had to be satisfied with a 2 all draw.

Womens Pennant B

2 nil versus TEM at Hawthorn saw WPB record it’s first win for 2012. Well done girls on a fantastic result. There is no doubt that more results like this will come your way.
