Hockey Australia has announced the 2024 Women’s National Development Squad.

At Southern we are excited to continue to have two of our players selected in the squad. 19 yo Josie Lawton who has played hockey with us at Southern since Under 11s, and Rene Hunter who joined the club in 2023 when she moved to Melbourne from NSW. Congratulations Josie and Rene.

We are also excited to see Olivia Downes as part of the squad. Olivia played juniors at Southern from Under 9s through to Under 16s, continuing in seniors through her early university years. Congratulations Liv.
