Finals Fever 2024

And they did it. For the last year as Jesse Workman as coach, without our two Kookaburras, our men’s  premier league took out the flag.

The Women’s Pennant E as finished with the chocolates. Congratulations.

Congratulations to our under 18 mixed red team – minor and major premiers. Also to our under 16 girls shield who finished as runners up in a very close game against Brunswick.

Congratulations to all our teams that made finals.

Our Men’s premier league have made it to the big dance again this year. MPL

This is the 3rd year in 5 years (18,19 and 24) that our team have made the premier league grand final,  and won, taking the premiership for the first time ever one 2018, and backing it up with another win in 2019.

Once again it is a result of our great junior program, with 12 of the 16 players in the semi final a result of our amazing junior final, while Monty was not part of our juniors, his father had been, prior to moving to Canberra, so maybe it should be 13, not 12.

With 9 of the players from the 2018 grand final part of the team for the semi final – Ed Arnold, Tom Youds, Trent Symss, Al Hart, Brad Marais, Carlin Walker, Pim Okhuizen, Josh Mulder and Josh Ephraums.  From that 2018 team  other players Lachie Eddington and Aaron Edmunds (still part of MPL but absent for finals) continue to play at the club, as do our Australian players Nathan Ephraums and Craig Marais, while rumour has it that Joey Kenny may be back next year.
