SOUTHERN United’s Premier League teams travelled to Altona for Round 6 and split the spoils, with the women winning 3-2 and the men losing 5-4.
The United women were in a strong position going in to the match, with four wins giving them fifth place on the ladder.
Hockey is a challenging game, and nothing is a sure thing, as Southern found against the 11th-placed Altona. At half time the hosts led 2-0 and an upset was in the works.
