From 11:59 pm on 22 November 2020, the following key principles apply to Community Sport across Victoria:
- Contact sport can resume both indoors and outdoors for both adults and children. Outdoors groups are limited to up to 50 people with an overall cap of 500 patrons. Indoors up to 20 people can participate per group exercise or activity or as many people as are required to play an indoor sport with an overall cap of 150 patrons

Hockey Victoria has also released guidelines in which Hockey Clubs can resume activities.
On2nd November, Kingston City Council announced sporting clubs could resume activities. These activities can only continue if the club adheres to the state government’s COVID-19 regulations for sports and exercise and will be governed by guidelines prepared by peak agencies and sporting associations.
Southern United Hockey Club has now developed guidelines for return to hockey training (in limited form) and we have approval to start from Hockey Victoria.
The Guidelines show responsibilities of the club, coaches, parents and players, and processes that must be followed. The guidelines should be read by all and are available here
