What a night, 2025 Senior Presentation Night. Thanks to the social committee for making such a wonderful night, sell out crowd, and great work by our MC of the night Will Carruthers.
So much to celebrate for the year.
The night started with the highest recognition the club could give, Life Membership to Steve ‘Buddha’ Duffield. A heartfelt speech by life member Cameron Hunter presented the award to Buddha. Thanks Buddha for all your work. (photos of him coaching an under 9 team in 2001 to come).
Then to our president’s award winner Fran Nicholson, thanks for your tireless work around Safe Hockey and caring for our juniors, and our Umpires Award Eve Hunter for your work taking on so much with umpiring and umpire co-ordination this year.
Congratulations to Emily Hamilton Smith winner of Women’s Best and Fairest and Josh Ephraums for the men. Our most improve junior playing women’s Neve Hoult and best junior playing seniors – Evan Laing-Peters.
Our sportsmanship awards for our masters, such deserving winners, Greg Edwards, not just for this years work in managing so much around the masters, for all the other years you have done this. To Alisia Simmons the player who supports so many.
