THE junior hockey season started on the weekend with 18 Southern United junior teams hitting the pitch, and 40 junior players playing their first game of club hockey, children ranging in age from 8 to 18.

The Under 10 teams, looking bright and shiny in their new uniforms, showed off their hard work in training and their new skills over the last weeks in their games against Waverley.
