We are searching for umpires to regular umpire our midweek games. 

As host to our open and masters games during the week, we provide 2 umpires for each and every game. Monday night can be up to 3 games, starting at 7pm, and Wednesday, up to 2 games, starting at 8.15. The games are 25 minute halves. If you are looking to umpire each week on either Monday or Wednesday night, or both, please contact our Masters section head Suzie Styles

Our junior sections is also keen to identify people who are wanting to umpire our junior games on Friday nights and/or our Saturday morning games. Please contact junior.section@suhc.com.au Ben Grant our junior section head.

We are keen to support our umpires through the training process provided by Hockey Australia starting with the foundation umpiring, and through the levels, and with our own facilitator who can assess you while umpiring, it makes this process simple and straight forward. 

It is exciting for all involved that Hockey Victoria has announced the umpire payments for games has increased in 2024.
