Double Header Results (20th, 21st July)

Looking for results? Look no further. This past weekend has seen the 3rd double header for the Mens and Womens firsts and reserves.

Without further ado…

Mens Premier League defeated MCC 4-3
Mens Premier League defeated by TEM 4-1

This puts the men in 11th, with MCC, Altona and Footscray within 3 points. We look forward to the upcoming rounds! Upcoming games are Essendon (3rd), Hawthorn (4th), Altona (9th), Doncaster (5th) and Footscray (8th).

Womens Vic League 1 defeated by Albury 4-3
Womens Vic League 1 defeated Monash 2-1

The women sit 4th, 6 points clear of 5th, 1 point shy of 3rd and 8 points shy of Albury on top. Games against Geelong (7th), Mornington (8th), CV Blazers (Bendigo) (11th), Gippsland (12th) and finally Latrobe (5th) could see that gap close.

Mens Premier League Reserves defeated MCC 7-1
Mens Premier League Reserves defeated TEM 2-0

The reserves are sitting middle of the ladder in 7th, 5 points clear of 8th (Doncaster, Footscray and TEM all on equal points)

Womens Vic League 1 Reserves – bye
Womens Vic League 1 Reserves defeated Monash 4-3

The womens reserves are sitting on top by 1 point though the number of games played with a bye could make things interesting.

Mens Pennant B defeated Waverley 3-0 (3rd, 1 point clear of 4th)
Mens Pennant C defeated by TEM 2-6 (5th, 1 point shy of 4th)

Both Mens Pennant teams are proving very competitive in a tight competition.

Womens Pennant A defeated by Essendon Ladies 0-1 (10th with 36 capped players so far!)

The ladder does not give a clear picture of how the girls are going with 4 games with narrow defeats against teams that last year occupied the grade above.

Mens Metro 2 S defeated Monash Uni 10-1 (2nd, 2 points shy of 1st)
