The Under 11 PSE team took on Doncaster at home on the weekend in a battle for 5th place and for a large part of the game were right in the mix. The support play from all the kids was terrific, the passing was really good & they were unlucky to go down 2/1 with a short corner given on the whistle almost getting Southern the equalizer.
With a bye in the last round that was our last game for the year, congratulations to all of you & a special thanks to coach Chris who has a done a great job with the kids. With a mix of experienced kids and kids that were new to hockey this year they did a great job & with a little bit of luck could have sneaked into the top 4. Zac, Zoe, Nicole, Anne, Michael, Mees, Josh, Liam, Luka, Max, Digby, Leon, Angus, Kurtis who all played on Saturday along with the kids who also played in the team during the year well done, you improved throughout the year & the way you played, whether you won or lost was a credit to your coach, yourselves and the club.
