Welcome to Nathan Wharerimu – Men’s Section Physio at SUHC
For the past few years the Men’s section has been ably looked after by Ant Selby from SSPS. Given the size of the club and section requirements we have engaged the services of Nathan Wharerimu to be the Men’s MPL Squad Physio whilst Ant will concentrate on looking after our Women’s section. Nathan will be at our training sessions every Thursday whilst our MPL & Reserves teams are training.
For those of you who aren’t in the MPL Squads here is a bit below about Nathan as a Physiotherapist. Nathan also looked after the Victorian U13 Junior State team in 2014 and did a fantastic job keeping the players on the pitch for the tournament. If you are in the Men’s section and looking for a physio we can recommend Nathan who is based in Caulfield.
Nathan is offering a 30% discount on consultation fees for all our members and a 20% discount on any products so make sure you let him know you are from SUHC.

Nathan graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand in 2002. After spending a few years in hospital based then neurological rehabilitation he moved into sport and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He owned a clinic in Dunedin NZ before moving to Melbourne early 2014 with his wife and three children to start a practice there. Nathan’s passion is biomechanical analysis of movement. He breaks down movement patterns and analyses where somebody is not transferring load properly. Nathan combines his love of martial arts, chess, biomechanics and fitness to come up with an advanced system based approach to physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
