Josh and Nathan Ephraums were part of the exceptional under 21 team that beat NSW 2-0 in the gold medal match.

The team had finished the team undefeated with two draws – against NSW and Qld. The gold medal match was a test of stamina and resolve. With Nathan scoring off a penalty corner in the first quarter, at half time the score remained 1-0. With another goal to the team in the third quarter defence held off strong attacks from NSW  for an exciting 2-0 win.
