Congratulations to the ten players from Southern United selected in the Victoria Under 18 teams to play in the Australian Championships in July.
Bridie Storton has received her first selection in a Victorian team, with selection in the Under 18 White team – Congratulations Bridie. A great testament to the goalie program run at Southern United with Bridie and Alice Arnold selected in the Under 18 teams, with Alice selected in the Blue team.
Olivia Downes and Georgia Elston have been selected in the Blue team with Nicole Amiet and Charley Malligan in the white.
In the under 18 boys teams, Nathan Ephraums has been selected in the Under 18 team, following his success as part of the winning Under 21 team. Also selected in the blue team are Josh Mulder and Brad Marais. While Alistair Hart is in the white team.
All these players played in Southern junior teams last year, with Brad, Alistair and Olivia continuing to play in the junior section. All players have at least one more year in the under 18 age group, a great achievement for their age.
