Moorabbin Kingston Leader 24th October 2018 WHILE the winter hockey season is over, nothing slows at Southern United Hockey Club. Fourteen teams have started the indoor season, an exciting form of the game. And four United players have been away on Australian duties. Amy Lawton, Brad Marais and Craig Marais have been part of the Australian contingent in Buenos Aires for the Youth Olympic Games. The game played at the games is a smaller version of traditional eleven-aside hockey, with five a side on a smaller pitch.

Moorabbin Kingston Leader 3rd October 2018 SOUTHERN United’s brilliant 16-year-old Amy Lawton bolted off with the Women’s Premier League best and fairest at last Wednesday’s Hockey Victoria awards night at the MCG. Lawton polled 36 votes to win by eight.
