A first for Southern

It was a weekend of highs and lows for the Southern United teams. The Premier League teams played Greensborough in the final round of the season. The men’s firsts went into the game on top of the ladder, three points ahead of Waverley. In a tough and physical game against Burra, Southern came from behind but couldn’t quite get there, going down 4-3. But Southern United did win the minor premiership for the first time.
